The 3 days of Profsummit in each year was a venue to rekindle the lights of both spiritual and academic life, besides keeping it glowing throughout the year. Sessions were well structured and included almost everything a campus student must be knowing of, both at the spiritual and academic level, including career options after each course. The presence of respected ulamas made the spiritual meet sweeter. Profsummit has been a breakthrough in many students' life and maybe your change might be waiting for you.
I remember Profsummit as one the most colorful days in my academic career. Here I got a golden chance to talk with beloved Shaikh Aboobacker Ahmed during the discussion about engineers in the Profsummit held at Hidaya, Palazhi. I was so excited as to answer his question and elated by his words of wisdom. Also, Profsummit is one of the game changers in my career as it taught me a lot about professional besides real-life and how to balance the two. Profsummit has also helped me build a strong friend circle with professionals across whole of Kerala.
I am glad to have been part of moments of the soul-enlightening Profsummit. Those moments of Profsummit where when I came to the full realization that through self-discipline, it is possible for me to set clear goals, use time effectively, treat people well, and always think positively. The event is an opportunity to dedicate oneself to the path of social goodness through a sufi-like outlook on life. Those days of Profsummit gave me a first-hand look at how to hold on to spirituality and keep pace with the new world. It made me realize the true happiness lies in the happiness of the mind. The biggest takeaway from participating in a huge event like Profsummit was that it helped me identify ways to normalize living as a faithful servant of the Almighty without compromising on the professional life I aspire. Fortunately, as I came to realize, almost everyone who participate in Profsummit, also share similar motive. When you see a large number of passionate, and lovely people around you, it makes you spiritually alive and it pumps you with immense amount of energy and confidence that stays with you forever. And the best part, you make amazing friends for both worlds.
When I was in the third year of my Five year Degree Course, Profsummit took place at Mansha' campus in Kannur in 2018. It was my first experience as a campus SSF activist. I knew the Basic lessons of Holy Islam and I have had 10 years of Islamic studies, but I did go wrong by the influence of the immoral campus atmosphere. Profsummit which was held in Kannur was a life-changing experience and it inspired me for a moral revolution within myself. Each session held there, but also each moment was of absolute variety and fabulous content. I want to humbly convey my heartfelt thanks to the SSF state committee for organizing the program.
With great pleasure and proud I would like to say that Profsummit is the largest gathering of professional students all over India where professionalism converges to spirituality. Actually it is a blend of candidates from different professions, regions and levels who comes out with a strong vision of original Islamic life style. I have got a chance to attend one of the Profsummit held in Ernakulam. The program was professionally organised and extra ordinary with targeted odience, specific theme, excellent treat, sharp eye opening speeches of top scholars and brain storming sessions with well known professionals. The two days experience of prof summit may change your perception, your way of life and a turning point in your professional life insha Allah. When we have a chance to recycle the existing format of our life, we will surely take that chance, and come up with a positive mind out of that. If u ask me that 'did you have that chance in your life to change yourself, I will give you a yes by pointing towards Profsummit, Which is a class and elegant professional conference organized by SSF Kerala, towards diagnosing the values and designing ethics. Thanks to Allah, I am glad that I was part of three summits during my college days. The summit is not all about providing spiritual security, but also about providing the actual path that you need to take to be successful. The Summit experiences you to watch and learn directly from whom they are successful in Islam's perspective. It is disappointing that I didn't get the 4th summit in my life through covid issues, but surely I will be more motivated by the summits that are happened in my life.
It is said that every doctor has the 'hands of God'. But how close are we doctors spiritually to God? This is what PROFSUMMIT reminds us of with their workshop program every year. It not only gives us exposure to their informative lectures, but also the opportunity to acquaint with doctors and other professionals in Kerala. The lectures are super motivating and immensely informative about the various aspects of both religion and other personal developmental skills. Staying there for 2 days has set no barrier to exploring different cultures, food, lifestyle, etc. I recommend that every professional should find time from their busy schedule to attend these sessions every year.
Emotions flood my mind when I think about my bygone Profsummit days in 2019. The first part of the 2019 Profsummit was a magnificent night trip up the Nadukani Pass. The students of Devarshola Ustad received us with hot tea and nut cakes when we reached the Nilgiris Padanthara Markaz in the morning after shivering through the coffee plantations. The next two days were absolutely enjoyable. The truth is that no one in those two thousand did not enjoy the deep study and possibilities of religious and material aspects in the fields of medicine, technology, and law and bring the minds of the students to the gardens of Madinah and enjoy the verses of Qawwali and Madh. I also got the chance to be part of 33 selected volunteers known as PROFTEAM. Eagerly waiting for the event to happen again and be a part of it.
