Gateway to GATE: Cracking the Code, Opening Futures!

The Campus Syndicate of SSF Kerala successfully organized an impactful orientation program titled “Gateway to GATE: Cracking the Code, Opening Futures!” on 11th September 2025 at 9:00 PM through Zoom. The session was specifically designed to guide engineering students and aspirants in preparing effectively for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), one of the most competitive examinations in India.
The keynote speaker of the event was Mr. Mohammed Mudassir, Research Scholar at NIT Calicut, who delivered a highly insightful session. He elaborated on proven strategies for GATE preparation, explained emerging exam trends, and motivated students to adopt a structured approach in their studies. Furthermore, he discussed the wide array of opportunities that lie ahead for GATE qualifiers, including higher education in premier institutions and lucrative career prospects in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
The program commenced with a formal inaugural address by a student representative from an engineering college, who emphasized the relevance of such initiatives in building academic confidence and professional vision among students. The orientation concluded with a warm and thoughtful vote of thanks by another engineering student, who expressed deep gratitude to the speaker, organizers, and participants for making the event a success.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across campuses, who appreciated the clarity and practical insights offered during the discussion. Many attendees shared that the orientation not only boosted their confidence for GATE but also helped them envision the broader academic and professional pathways that await beyond the examination.
By combining expert guidance with student-led participation, Gateway to GATE successfully fulfilled its aim of inspiring future engineers to “crack the code” and “open futures.”
